Have a go - Shooting for Visitors to Mosman-Neutral Bay Rifle Club

If you do wish to try out the sport, please don't hesitate to contact us. We run familiarisation sessions roughly once a month, on Saturday mornings. Contact us and we'll book you into the next available session.

All you need to bring is a driver's licence for identification purposes. All non-licensed shooters are required to fill out a Firearms Registry form (a P650*) which we will provide, and keep, and this will cover you for the day in lieu of a Firearms Licence. Any person between the ages of 12 and 18 will require a parent or guardian to be present throughout; to provide their own ID; and to counter-sign the P650 form.

If you are licenced for another class of firearm, you will still need to complete the P650 to cover the kind that we use: Class B.

The trial day will cost you $100 (subject to ammo costs), and we will provide you with everything you need, including safety training, qualified supervision, a rifle, ammunition, hearing protection, a coach, and as much explanation as you need.

The Club is not able to cater for groups; we can only accommodate a small number of people at a time.

If you would like to come out and have a go, please contact us to organise a visit.

*New shooters without a Firearms Licence will need to bring identification and complete a P650 Declaration - "Person shooting on an Approved Range or undertaking a Firearms Safety Training Course". This form must be completed by all unlicensed persons before they can use firearms in accordance with the NSW Firearms Act 1996 and Regulations.
