MNBRC responds to rush of membership enquiries

MNBRC 07JAN26

Mosman-Neutral Bay Rifle Club is a shooting club devoted wholly to target rifle shooting at the highest level. We have many members who have reached standards where they compete in State and Australian Teams and are able to encourage new members to that same high standard.

The Club is approved and run with the backing of the NSW Rifle Association and we operate as a Club under their constitution. We also operate under the Club Approval directives of the NSW Police Firearms Registry.

We compete at the ANZAC Rifle Range at Malabar in Sydney under the Range Safety Rules issued by the NSW Rifle Association who also control range access.

We welcome anyone who is genuinely interested in Target Rifle Shooting. New members are expected to show a commitment to the sport and the Club by attending regular practice shoots, obtaining and maintaining a firearms licence and competing in Club and inter-club Grade Competitions as well as attending Club social functions and joining in the running of the Club.

Applications for membership are assessed by the Club Committee to ensure that there is a good fit to our Club’s ethos. We offer membership for the purpose of Target Rifle Shooting only and not as a convenience for maintaining a licence for other purposes. Results of any application will be communicated by email only.

Please see our FAQ for what we do, and what we DON’T do.
